Media Act 2024 Commencement Dates October. Future dates (especially those more than a week in advance) may be provisional. The secretary of state of culture, media and sport has made commencement regulations which bring part 5 of the media act 2024 into force, as well as a section of part 1 to allow for our preparatory work on psb reform.
There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. On wednesday 21 august, the first commencement regulation relating to the act was laid before parliament, setting out those provisions in the act which come into force on 23.
